Our Philosophy on Refunds

Thank you for choosing Conductr! Our goal is to provide a powerful tool that seamlessly integrates into your creative workflow. We are confident in the value Conductr brings to home studio recording, and to ensure it’s the right fit for you, we offer a 14-day, fully-functional free trial for every user.

This trial period allows you to experience the complete feature set of Conductr with your specific hardware and software. We strongly encourage all users to take full advantage of this trial period to ensure Conductr meets your needs and works correctly on your system before making a purchase.

Due to this extensive try-before-you-buy model, our refund policy is structured accordingly.

General Policy

Once a Conductr activation key is purchased, the sale is considered final and non-refundable. The 14-day free trial serves as the evaluation period for the software.

However, we understand that exceptional circumstances can occur. We will consider granting a refund under the specific conditions outlined below.

Legitimate Grounds for a Refund

Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of the original purchase date for the following reasons only:

  1. Verifiable Technical Failure:
    • If the software is proven to be non-functional or fails to perform its core advertised functions on your computer, and
    • Your computer meets the minimum system requirements published on our website, and
    • You have actively worked with our technical support team to try and resolve the issue, but we are unable to provide a solution.
    • Note: Cooperation with our support team is mandatory for a refund claim of this nature. We will require diagnostic information, screenshots, or other relevant data to assess the issue.

  1. Accidental Duplicate Purchase:
    • If you accidentally purchase two or more activation keys for the same single user in separate transactions. We will refund the duplicate purchase(s).
  1. Activation Key Failure:
    • If the activation key you receive is invalid and our support team is unable to provide you with a functional, replacement key in a timely manner.

What We Cannot Refund

We will not grant refunds for issues that could have been identified during the free trial period. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Change of mind after purchasing.
  • Purchasing the software without using the free trial first.
  • Your computer, controller, or DAW not meeting the minimum system requirements.
  • Dissatisfaction with features, or the absence of a feature, that was observable during the trial.
  • Incompatibility with third-party software or hardware not explicitly listed as supported by Conductr.
  • No longer using the software or finding an alternative product after purchase.
  • Issues related to user error in configuring the software or DAW shortcuts.

How to Request a Refund

If your situation meets the criteria listed under “Legitimate Grounds for a Refund,” please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team via email at hello@conductr.app within 14 days of your purchase.
  2. Use the subject line: “Refund Request: [Your Order Number]”.
  3. In the body of the email, please include:
    • The email address used for the purchase.
    • Your full name.
    • Your Conductr activation key.
    • A detailed and clear explanation of why you are requesting a refund, referencing one of the legitimate grounds listed above.
    • For technical issues, please provide your macOS version, DAW version, and the model of the controller you are using.

The Refund Process

Once we receive your request, we will review it and may ask for additional information or require you to perform troubleshooting steps with our support team.

If your refund request is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Upon issuance of a refund, your activation key will be permanently deactivated, and your license to use Conductr will be revoked.
